Why does KFC have a fish taco?

Before you accuse me of not knowing whereof I speak, I distinctly remember seeing a sign for KFC's 99-cent Fish Tacos while driving a few days ago. Even though they're not on KFC's menu, I did find a reference or two on Teh Internets (so it must be true!), so I'm fairly sure I didn't dream it.

Wait...they were called Baja Fish Tacos. LJS has an item by that name on their menu.

Did KFC and LJS merge? Can I now get popcorn shrimp and a tub of KFC's crack mashed potatoes and gravy? If so, what will they call the new entity formed by their merger? Kentucky Fried Long Johns? Kentucky John's Silver Chicken? Long Chicken? Colonel Silver's? Can I get a bucket of extra-crispy fish fillets made with 11 secret herbs and spices?

A Limerick

There was a young man with a plight:
His Limericks were...never quite right.
     They scanned and they rhymed—
