Evil.
A group of us developers just had a meeting in Scott's office during which he talked to us about the wonders of a free reporting tool he discovered called Jasper. And it is used in Java.
For 45 minutes, he talked about Java.
Which put Manhattan Transfer's Java Jive in my head.
I'll admit that this next part was patently stupid in my part, but I sent him an email and told him that I was susceptible to stuck songs and that "Java Jive" was his fault.
His reply:

His reply:
You shouldn't have told me that.To which I replied:
Remember the Oompa Loompa song from Willy Wonka?
You're right. I should think about admissions like that before putting them in print. His next reply:
I have my headphones on, now. :)
There are a slew of songs I could throw at you...Of course, I only made it worse, because I continue to be stupid, today:
I'm not sure you could do worse than some of the things I inflict on myself. There were 13 days in 2006 that I had "Dance With Me" by Orleans running through my mind during every waking moment. Last Saturday, it was TV theme songs. I honestly had no idea I even knew the theme to that many TV shows. His next reply, which arrived just as I was about to submit this:
Dancing Queen by ABBAWhy do I get the feeling I'm going to live to regret this?
You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen
