I came home last night from a long day at work and then a nice sushi dinner and saw...something unidentifiable on the area rug in front of my stove.
It was brown and...ew! No way! These cats have never shown the slightest inclination toward...wait. It's a little too...perfectly shaped. Almost a perfect circle.
But not a circle. An oblate spheroid.
So I put down my laptop and backpack and went back into the kitchen to see what it was. I gently prodded it with a fork from the sink. It was very hard.
Gently, I turned it over, feeling pretty sure I now knew what it was.
Yep. Sausage cheese ball.
Apparently, I dropped one at some unspecified point in the past and it rolled under the stove.
Either Matt or Lucy very helpfully fished it out and then left it where I would be sure to notice it.
