the other day i got an email entitled "Remove Your Bills the Christian Way" from Christian Bill Removers and couldn't help but open it and laugh. :) i wondered if their take on 'removing bills' was to turn bills into plain ol' white wide-ruled paper or currency (or, even better, wine) with the wave of a hand or something...because that would be a really cool party trick. curiosity got the better of me and i clicked on the big "Debt Elimination Services Based on Christian Principles--CLICK HERE!" button, only to be asked to enter my zip code in order to determine if i qualified to be a product tester for an organization, i presume, that was not Christian Bill Removers. and i thought, "how very un-Christian of them to lie."

I get several of those each day. I even created a special email account just so I could put it on their "do not spam me" list to see if...you know...it would be spammed. So far, it hasn't. At which, color me shocked.

My take on their methods was that they must pray for the conversion of the bill collectors to good Christians (who would never ask for money), or for the transubstantiation of the debt into credit.

I've been considering doing a post dedicated to them and what I think their methods might be. But I haven't wanted to waste time researching them. :)
