Dr. Miller (I had the first letter wrong, which is why I could NOT think of it last night when I was typing) is the prick who treated us and the nurse in such a horrible manner. Just FYI.

My grandmother has been RE-admitted to the hospital. After the FIFTH DAY of diarrhea, they have determined that she's somewhat dehydrated (!) and that she has a bacterial infection.

I am so furious right now I almost can't type. FIVE. DAYS. Of COURSE she's dehydrated, you worthless wastes of DNA! And why in the HELL didn't the infection show up on the first test, hmm?

My mother has begged me not to explode and tell off anyone until she's out of the hospital and nursing home. I have reluctantly agreed to do so. But I'll be damned if I let this drop.

Her doctor (since Dr. Summerford is, indeed, on vacation, which is why Dr. Miller was filling in) is now my MOTHER's doctor, Dr. Jones. Dr. Jones will actually talk to people. Dr. Jones doesn't snap at nurses. Dr. Jones better not get added to my List (tm).

My grandfather just had knee replacement surgery and is in a community for a couple of weeks so he can do rehab. I hope his treatmant has been better than your grandmother's. Hopefully things will be looking up for her.

I'll say a few prayers for her tonight. And, I don't say prayers often, so hopefully it'll shock God right out of his chair and he'll do something for your nana ASAP. Its good that she's back where she can have an IV for both antibiotics and fluids, though. *HUGS*
