As if the dream last night weren't awful enough, I've had a song in my head since I woke up. I have no idea where it came from or how it got there, but it's driving me nuts already, and it's only 11:33 AM.

I feel your pain. I've had "Melissa the Magnificent Moose" stuck in my head:

The funny part is: I've heard this song twice, and both were > 5 years ago. Our mutual friend Orcas (adsmguy)'s son was deeply into The Veggie Tales at the time, and they (adsmguy and mrsadsmguy) felt that I needed to hear this song.

I'll get them back. Eventually.

The funny part of this is: I wasn't aware I even KNEW this song until today. I didn't know the words until I looked them up for this post, but the music just sprang out of my head, unbidden. I must have heard it somewhere. :)

What does bother me is listening to the radio and Gwen Stefani comes on with her "if I were a rich girl"

I then start singing from The Fiddler on the Roof.

I'd be thrilled if Gwen sang "If I Were a Rich Girl." Unfortunately, what she sings is "If I Was a Rich Girl."

For that alone, she should be shunned. :)
