Another Quick Cat Update

Sorry to be so single-minded, but...it's pretty much what's on my mind, these days. :)

I'll cut it so you can ignore me if you want.


Lucy is fascinated by whistling. I have to think she probably has never heard anyone whistle in her entire life. Every time I whistle anything, she comes running. At least I know how to get her to come to me if I ever really need her to. It amuses me, of course, to whistle the opening notes of the theme of I Love Lucy, and have her come to me. Because I'm like that.

Matt has let me pet him and even pick him up a time or two. On two consecutive nights! But there are conditions. I have to be in The Chair <evil chord>, I have to be very still, and he has to be in total control. If I move or stand up or—God forfend—un-recline the chair, he freaks out and runs from the room.

But it's a start!
