I think I finally found my title:

Perdition's Flames

It has fire, it has evil, it has literary allusion (Moby Dick, not Wrath of Khan), and it's short.

Now I need one for my NaNoWriMo novel—which will be the next book in the same universe as Perdition's Flames—and I'll be set. :)

Heh! And while I was typing this, I came up with the title:

Death Scene

It'll make sense later. :) I might even make it Death Seen, depending on how it shapes up.
