Quite a while back, I misplaced a little 2G SDRAM card on which I had stored pretty much every digital image I had even taken. Including a few that don't exist anywhere else. I searched my car and my house...nothing. I searched my mother's house. Nada.

It was just gone. I assumed that I had probably dropped it in the parking lot at work or something like that.

I frankly gave up all hope of ever seeing it again.

I've been declutterizing a bit over the last couple of weeks. As part of that, I was going through one of my camera bags1 and I felt a small lump wedged under a divider at the bottom of the bag. "What can this be?" I thought. I fished it out.

Yes! It was my missing card! And it was still intact! And now the unique pictures are no longer unique, because they're on The Shiny.

  1. I know, right? In a logical place where it should be? What crazy person put it there?
