Notes:
  • I continue to be very pleased by my progress. But I am typing scenes I have, for the most part, already imagined fully, and all I'm basically doing is watching the movie in my head and attempting to write down what I'm seeing. In other words, the words are sort of flowing freely. We'll see, in a few days, just how pleased I am when I'm sweating blood trying to get 500 words. :)

  • I introduced my 'villain' character, today. I rather like how he's turned out. And bonus: he's bisexual. Didn't see that one coming. :) Note: he is not bisexual because he is a villain, nor is he the villain because he is bisexual. He's just a person who happens to be bisexual, and whose goals lie athwart those of my protagonist character(s).

  • Purchased the upgrade to Scrivener 2.0 and am using it to do my novel. I was already in total love with this program, so it's not like I wouldn't have bought it anyway. Can't wait to try some of the new features.

  • Not only have I added one character and fleshed out another, I've added several more new ones, as well, and without realizing it, I have added a "foil" character for each of the main characters. Apparently, my mind naturally looks for the points of conflict. Nice to know that I can do that.

Way to go Gary!

Your progress is putting me to shame. I guess I need to ramp it up a bit :-)
