Notes:
- Today was my day to make up for some lost time on Saturday. And I did pretty well. Not stellar, but pretty well. I'll need to have a couple more days like this one before I'm satisfied with how far ahead I am for when I have several houseguests next weekend, and then am out of town the next weekend, and then am at Thanksgiving out of town the next one after that.
- Unfortunately, I made an incorrect assumption. I assumed that NaNoWriMo.org was Daylight Saving Time compatible. And that it would just handle it. I was incorrect. Tonight at 11:00, it suddenly started counting my words toward the 8th, not the 7th. When I set my time zone back to GMT-5, it screwed up all my prior word-counts. So the numbers above are...approximate, at best. <grumble>
- The person who I mentioned that picked me at random to use as a goad to get him/her-self to write? BLEW ME THE HELL OUT OF THE WATER. I looked today and s/he was 10,000 words ahead of me! So now I'm doing catch-up. :) (Note: My 4601 words put me only 6000 words behind where s/he stopped.)

- I managed to get my hero character accused of a crime he didn't commit and he must now get out of that pickle. He's 19 at the point I've intersected this story, and his frat house has just blown up and killed a number of people, and the cops have some sort of evidence he might have done it. And unfortunately, the time travelers who are helping/hurting him are unable to come help him because the explosion in the frat house wasn't "supposed" to happen, and the fabric of space-time is chaotic and trying to right itself. He has eye-witnesses who can put him elsewhere for hours before the crime was committed, so he should be OK. :)
- I'd like to thank
kungfoogirl for her in-depth advice on how my character and his lawyer might behave while being questioned by the cops about this crime. If this ever goes to print <snort!>, she'll get a special thanks in the acknowledgements.
