Notes:
  • These scenes definitely flowed out of my fingers with ease. I rewrote the scene where the character was suspected of a crime, had the future characters make a change, and followed it through to where the hero didn't act heroically, and then had to deal with an ex-girlfriend who became the only person he could turn to after he'd lost everything. So he's basically in a similar place, but not accused of terrorism.

  • I spent a good many words with my antagonists, this time, as well. And thought of a couple of new scenes I can do where the antags and the protags will have to be directly at odds.

  • My poor hero. He has no idea all of this is going on behind the scenes of his life. :)

  • I think the next scene I will write will actually be the scene that comes second in the original story, but now with better knowledge of what's coming before and after. And much before and much after. Knowing all the players will help make the scene make more sense, I think. The first time, the readers had no idea why Jalila (Jane in the original version) was being so careful or why Gerald was being such a dork. Well, duh. He's attracted to her. :)
