I'm charting my daily progress on NaNoWriMo. Since you may or may not care, I'll kindly hide it behind a cut. Thanks for taking the time. :)
Notes:
This table shows each story and how many words I have written on it, regardless of the daily count. Titles or letters in red ("tomato") are ones where I'm not sure, yet, what the story will be.

Notes:
- I was all prepared to begin writing 'A Is for Angel' starting early in the morning on the 1st, but on Monday night as I was getting ready for bed, the word 'Anchor' popped into my head, complete with most of the idea for a story. Well, who am I to ignore
my musemy subconscious when it gives me something so clear to work with? - I originally thought this would take about 2000 to 2500 words, but . . . it grew. And grew. And kept growing. Oy. By midnight, I had 6210 words, and I kept writing for a while after that to see if I could get the whole thing out. I didn't. It is unfinished, but with notes to tell me where I was headed.
- My idea in this is to write each day's letter exclusively unless and until I finish, at which point I can go back and work on other days' words, if I left them unfinished.
- Edit: Note that 'today' doesn't start until after I sleep. So if I go to bed at 10 PM or 2 AM, it's still that day until that time, and the 'next day' starts when my alarm goes off.
- Character names: Ann/Annie, Abigail, Amelia
- Interesting things I had to look up: child development (when they start walking, talking, etc.), common female names at the turn of the 20th century and again in the 1930s, parts of a church.
- Genre: Magic Realism
This table shows each story and how many words I have written on it, regardless of the daily count. Titles or letters in red ("tomato") are ones where I'm not sure, yet, what the story will be.
