I'm charting my daily progress on NaNoWriMo. Since you may or may not care, I'll kindly hide it behind a cut. Thanks for taking the time. :)
Notes:
This table shows each story and how many words I have written on it, regardless of the daily count. Titles or letters in red ("tomato") are ones where I'm not sure, yet, what the story will be.

Notes:
- Well, this was another one that decided to be longer. But when you're writing a fairy tale, you have to do certain things. There is a rule of three, so I had to have three knights challenge the dragon. This took up a lot of words.
- "D Is for Dragon" was one that I knew from the beginning had to be a comedy. I wanted to take the typical fairy-tale tropes involving dragons and damsels and knights...and twist them. I sincerely hope it's as fun to read as it was for me to write. It might be unseemly to admit it, but I giggled out loud while writing some of the lines.
- I managed to complete this one was well, but only because I hurried the ending. I'm not as thrilled as I could be, but...I can fix that in editing. :)
- In true fairy tale fashion, there's a romance, danger, humor, gore, and a little twist at the end.
- My wrists hurt. :(
- I finally figured out what word I'm going to use for S: SkullCosm. If you don't know what that word means, join the club. I don't know what the story will be, yet, but I know it will be science fiction. :)
- Character names: Princess Darlene (the main character/damsel), Daryl (the dragon), Donald (the Dauntless, a prince and a knight), a series of other knights with soap-opera names: Dirk (burns to death), Corwin (crushed in the dragon's jaws), and Neville (strangled by the dragon's tail).
- Interesting things I had to look up: dragon names, medieval grammar, synonyms for 'courageous' starting with 'd,' medieval coats of arms, random medieval-sounding country names, and asked on Facebook for my friends to suggest names, of which I used three. :)
- Genre: Fairy Tale
