Notes:

  • Had a hard time getting in the mood, today, as well. Don’t know why. Just . . . did.
  • Once I got going, I wrote about magic + the arts. Specifically stage productions (I created a fake one as the very first), music concerts, and visual arts (paintings, photographs, sculpture, etc.). I was able to find a way to tie ghosts and poltergeists in to this topic and explain how they aren’t actually the spirits of anyone dead, but . . . well, if you’ve ever heard of the “stone tape theory” of hauntings, you know the direction I went. Kinda fun tying all this stuff I read back in the fourth and fifth grades into what I’m writing.
  • Most interesting things I looked up: Stendhal Syndrome, Ernest Hemingway, Poltergeists, stone tape theory, and snuff films (yes, I covered the pornography side of ‘art’ as well, and if you have vampires and necromancers, it’s my thought that you’re going to have snuff films. Real ones. I feel kind of dirty, actually.
