Notes:

  • Put off writing again, today. I don’t know why. I knew pretty much what I was going to write about, but for some reason it was just hard to get going.
  • Wrote more about psions, today. My characters are going to have fun with the powers I’m writing about, especially the one I spent most of my time explaining, which is “disguise.” Basically, a psion using this will look like whatever type of person the target is expecting to see.
  • For each power or whatever that I write about, I usually create a little historical story to go with it. A court case, an investigation, something. And so each day is almost like short stories. I find it much easier to explain these powers by telling a narrative story than writing it like in some sort of D&D manual.
  • Today I looked up Interstates in Louisiana, banks in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the FBI. The “case” I was writing about was a string of bank robberies where the psionic criminal basically posed as a regular employee of the bank in order to steal cash. Sometimes, the banks didn’t even notice until much later. I don’t know how likely that is, but I’ll fix it later if it turns out to be implausible. The not noticing part, that is, not the psionic part. I know that’s pure fantasy. :)
